Scope of this policy
This policy applies to the public website operated by Georgia Clinical Research Partners, LLC (“GCRP,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). It does not replace any study-specific informed-consent document, HIPAA authorization, Notice of Privacy Practices, research authorization, or other notice you may receive from a research site, investigator, physician practice, sponsor, CRO, or institutional review board.
Information you choose to provide
If secure inquiry submission is enabled and you send us a general inquiry, we may receive your name, email address, optional telephone number, organization, and the message you provide. Please do not submit diagnoses, symptoms, medical records, insurance information, Social Security numbers, financial information, or other sensitive health information through the general inquiry form.
Submitting a website inquiry does not create a physician-patient relationship, enroll you in a clinical study, or guarantee that you qualify for or will be contacted about a study.
Website and device information
Our hosting and security providers may process routine technical information needed to deliver and protect the website, such as an IP address, browser and device information, request time, requested resource, and security logs. We use a device-local preference to remember whether you allowed or declined optional analytics.
Optional analytics
Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics are blocked unless you affirmatively select “Allow optional analytics.” Even after consent, they may load only on our Home, About, Sponsors & CROs, and Physicians pages when the address contains no query parameters.
We do not use Google Analytics on patient, study, study-detail, FAQ, contact, or form pages. We do not send form entries, contact information, study-interest information, health information, or inquiry text to Google. Advertising storage, advertising user data, and advertising personalization remain disabled. You may change your selection at any time using the “Privacy choices” button.
How we use information
- To respond to an inquiry and route it to the appropriate GCRP contact.
- To operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the website.
- To evaluate general interest in GCRP’s business and research operations without using sensitive patient-page activity.
- To comply with applicable legal, regulatory, contractual, quality, and recordkeeping obligations.
When information may be shared
We may share information with service providers that support website hosting, security, communications, or approved business operations; with a GCRP site or appropriate research professional when needed to respond to your request; or when disclosure is required or permitted by law. We do not sell personal information or use health information for targeted advertising.
Retention and security
We retain information only as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected and for applicable legal, regulatory, quality, dispute-resolution, and recordkeeping requirements. We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the information involved. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Third-party destinations
Links to Google Maps and other third-party websites take you away from this site. Those services operate under their own privacy practices. Opening a map or directions link may disclose information such as your IP address and device information to the third party.
Children
This general website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from a child under 13 through the general inquiry form. A parent or legally authorized representative should communicate with the research team when a pediatric study is involved.
Your choices and requests
You may decline optional analytics without losing access to the website. You may also ask about personal information submitted through the website or request correction or deletion, subject to applicable legal, regulatory, research, and recordkeeping requirements. Use the Contact page and do not include sensitive medical information in the request.
Policy changes
We may update this policy as our website, services, or legal obligations change. The “Last updated” date identifies the current version.
